My new running buddy.

I have been involved in running, on and off, for many years and got back into it again about 18 months ago. I remember doing the London Marathon in 1996 ( yes, I am that old! 😂) with just a watch that told you how long you’d been running, no laps, no pace, no heart rate etc and a ‘bum bag’ for some, well 3, very revolutionary ‘Lippin’s Squeezies’. No hydration plan, no fuel plan, not that many women actually running in the race. Completely different era now and my new running vest feels like a state of the art product.
There is literally no bounce and no chaffing after a 10km run using it. I used two fillable water bottles and the vest didn’t even feel uneven once I had drunk most of one side.
I have a small frame but the adjustments that you can make ensure the vest is snug but not too tight. Lots of pockets too! I love the adjustable front straps that go up and down, I have one fairly near to the top before my bust starts and one under my bust, very comfy.
I’ll be wearing it for a 10km training plan now, but who knows I might just try a half marathon next year, it’s going to be my new best running buddy!
Wear it for a 5k or an ultra and everything in between, wear it for a walk especially if you’re wrangling a dog or a toddler come to that.
