My Story (Founder)

Why we built Swiftal differently

Before I designed this vest, I sold thousands of hydration vests in person — at running events and expos. London Marathon, National Running Show, 5ks, 10ks, half marathons, marathons you name it And the same conversation kept happening.

A woman would pick up a vest, look at it, and say something like: "It's lovely, but it won't fit me." Sometimes she'd already tried Salomon and given up. Sometimes she'd bought a £15 Amazon vest that bounced like a bag of soup on her first 5K. Sometimes she'd never even tried one because she'd already decided, in advance, that running gear wasn't built for her body.

The pattern was always the same. The chest strap sat in the wrong place. The bottles landed on her bust. The waist crushed her ribs the moment the chest fit. And every time, she walked away thinking the problem was her.

It wasn't.

So we built a vest where the chest straps move around your bust, where the waist cinches independently, with enough storage to actually carry what you need. Not for elite athletes. For real people who run.
